About

WHO WE ARE

My husband and I have worked in or around gardening our whole lives. Gary was born and raised on a Vermont dairy farm. He worked his entire career as a forester for the State of Vermont, and he is a certified Master Gardener. My mother’s family were German immigrants who settled in Corning, New York and opened a large floral business. I spent many days in summer wandering through the large, glass greenhouses, and scrounging on the shop floor for discarded flowers to make my own bouquets. When Gary and I married, we cultivated large flower gardens in each of our homes. About 20 years ago, while living in Vermont, we were encouraged by friends and family to begin selling our “Bouquets to Go” at local farmers markets. Eventually, we were asked to provide flowers for weddings and events and to make deliveries. We moved to Winston-Salem in June of 2023 and have grown to love the wonderful community, southern culture and the long growing season.

Though not formally certified, we strive to use organic and sustainable materials and practices in our gardens. If you have any questions, please contact us. We respond promptly, always within one day.

WHAT WE DO

We grow our own annual and perennial flowers, woody stems and grasses on three-fourths of an acre in Winston-Salem. We are hoping to sell our flowers in local farmers markets weekly by next summer (2026). Currently, we sell dried flower wreaths, bouquets and flower crowns as guest vendors at Cobblestone Farmers Market. We also deliver medium-sized bouquets to the greater Winston area for $25 and make casual flower arrangements, bridal bouquets and boutonnières for weddings. We have provided examples of our flowers and arrangements in the “gallery” section of this website.
